Your Tuesday devotional thought: Excuse me? Do you have a minute? When people ask you this, what do you do? What is your response? What they are asking for is some of your time. Are we do busy for people and their needs anymore? Are we all about our plans and our agendas to the point that we can’t slow down enough to engage in meaningful conversations and just helping people who have needs. This is a life and a system of selfishness that will ultimately affect all of us. So, do you have a minute? Consider making yourselves more available and more aware of just how precious time spent for someone else can be. Remember the words given to us in James 4:13-15 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit”— yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.”
