Your support of the Jewish Federation helps fund programs that help immigrants transition into Israeli life. The Jewish Agency for Israel, which is supported by Jewish Federations, recently opened a new ulpan (school for Hebrew study) in the city of Ramle for young immigrants, ages 22-35, from the former Soviet Union, Hungary, Turkey and South America. The new branch of Ulpan Etzion (the original is in Jerusalem) serves 30 immigrants with academic degrees, and is a distinctive absorption program that includes five months of intensive Hebrew study, and a rich array of cultural and social activities, including tours around Israel. Learn more about The Jewish Agency’s network of ulpanim across Israel. Thank you to those who have donated to the 2014 Annual Campaign! tinyurl/donatejfed
