We produce ample amounts of exceptional quality coastal hay on our fields that are located in TX. We grow our premium square bales under irrigation pivots to assure the grass never goes through stress or periods of dryness and can maintain its nutritional value. This fine coastal hay is green and very soft and tender. Conditions are perfect when we cut this hay so it does not mold and is cut at its highest nutritional value so you get your moneys worth and your horse stays healthy and happy. We heavily fertilize before EVERY cutting so this hay is loaded with protein and the stickers and junk are choked out of the fields, thus producing a CLEAN bale of hay. We barn store immediately to prevent bleaching and molding. We keep equipment updated so the bales are tight and solid, flake nicely and wont bust when thrown around. Weve taken the step to simplify transportation, storing and handling of these two-string coastal square bales and we run every bale through a Bale Baron which puts 21 individual square bales into a bundle that can be handled by hay spears or pallet forks so you wont have the headache of unloading and stacking each bale by hand. These bundles also stack nice and tight and take up less room even though you are not being shorted on any hay. If you do not have a storage area these bundles allow you to stack the hay on pallets and tArp it and youd never know the difference. Pallets can be provided. Extensive measures have also been taken to locate the best, safest, highest quality alfalfa that is the most desirable to be fed to horses. This alfalfa is beautiful and completely green throughout the entire bale with no striping at all. This hay is grown in Arizona in safe conditions and sprayed to eliminate junk and bugs. This hay has been well accepted among customers and their horses and when compared to local bales from stores, bales are much bigger, cleaner and greener. Horses eat this hay to the very last bite leaving no stems behind. This hay has a nice small stem and is loaded with leaf. Tests on this hay came back at 20% protein so a reduction in the grain bill may be possible as well. The flakes stay together well and wont fall apart during feeding. These bales are three-string weighing 100+ pounds and YOU WILL BE PLEASED!!!!! We also have round bales!! Our coastal round bales are super nice coastal, however, we want customers to understand that our very best coastal is put in a square bale. Our round bales are great quality, mostly (90-95%) clean and the grass is very soft. Bales are 4X5.5, net wrapped rolls. Cattle, goat or non-breeding mares can eat our #2 round bales. These rolls are the same size and consist of quality coastal hay and Johnson grass. The field was fertilized and was simply a new field still being improved. It still is great hay at a reduced price. We offer NATIONWIDE delivery on our various sized delivery trucks. We accept and cater to our feed store customers and give special pricing to bulk or frequent buyers. Our hay is fed in multiple horse facilities, breeders, trainers, veterinarians, world champions, boarding stables and many more. Unloading & stacking is available from time to time and we also will send spears with the truck if you do not have the proper equipment.
