Here are the details: “Women Warriors: A Vision of Valor” documentary film premier screening and reception, Friday, May 16, 2014 from 2:30 to 4:00PM at Front Range Community College, Rocky Mountain Room, 3645 W. 112th Ave, Westminster CO 80031. Please join Congressman Ed Perlmutter as he hosts the premier of the documentary film, Women Warriors: A Vision of Valor. The Congressmans office helped students from Front Range Community College reach out to Colorado women veterans to interview as part of the Library of Congress Veterans History Project. This film documents the evolving role of women in war, and follows the stories of 10 women veterans from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan. The film tells parts of their personal stories, comparing their military experiences, and how they supported combat operations during each of those wars.
