Youre the only one in the room... - Hi everyone, Have you realised that you’re the only one in the room? From the moment you wake up - no matter how many people you actually come into contact with throughout your day – you are the only one in the room. If you’re not sure what I mean…let me explain… We can only perceive the outside world from within ourselves. We have access to our internal feelings, thoughts, beliefs and memories 24/7 and how we interpret what we experience is up to each one of us. You see as you are here reading the words before you…you are the only one in the room… You may have a conversation with your spouse, or child, or next-door neighbour, or co-worker, or the guy at the petrol station but still…you are the only one in the room… EVERYTHING that ‘happens’ to you is as a result of what you have created, based on your perceptions, beliefs, desires as you relate to the world around you….you are the only one in the room… So…what is your relationship with yourself like? Have you thought about it? If you’re not sure, look at the quality of the relationships you have with the people around you…they are a dead giveaway. Whatever is going on inside of you is reflected back to you by the external world. And on the same token, you cannot change what you see in your external world if you are not willing to see and acknowledge what is going on for you on the inside.
