Youth Sunday - instead of todays Collect, were posting the Prayers of the People, written by All Saints young people (its worth reading through to the end) We pray for our Church, our Bishops Jeffrey, Christopher, and John and our priests Bonnie and Fran. We pray for people new to our church and for our church leaders Lord, grant us faith We pray for our Nation, and ask you to guide our government leaders, our president and our mayor who help our city. Give comfort to victims of tornadoes and other natural disasters. Lord, grant us hope We pray for our world, especially for the people in Africa, Ukraine. and Russia. We pray for for peace and for all who are having hard times and need God’s help. We pray for an end to pollution, and for safety for everyone. Lord, grant us peace We pray for our city and community. We pray for people who dont have enough food or a safe place to live. We pray for those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries and for the youth of our community. Lord, grant us faith We pray for those who suffer or are in trouble, for youth in trouble or danger. For those who are sick especially Charlie Lord, grant us hope We pray for the departed, grandparents, friends, relatives, and the pets we miss so much– especially cats Arthur, Bobby, Tuke, and Edison, Rocky the fish, and Tory the dog. We give thanks for their lives and the wonderful times we had with them. We pray for the victims of gun violence, and we give thanks for saints especially St Peter and St Francis. Lord, grant us peace
