Youth often play major roles in violent conflict and the negative implications that come along with such dalliance is not in doubt. Of importance is how to harness this vitality, this energy to nation building. Youth should never allow themselves to be used as tools for political expediency. When youth are employed and capable of self reliance, income wise, they will certainly be less likely to join violent movements for short term monetary gain precisely because they have the ability to satisfy their basic needs.
