Youths drag traffic cop on car bonnet in Chandigarh Following the incident, the police have booked Aftab Singh, a resident of Moga, and Karambir Singh, a resident of Sector 33, for allegedly assaulting a public servant, identified as Devinder Singh, on duty and attempt to murder. The incident took place at Matka Chowk at around 6 pm when the accused were signaled to stop as the driver, Aftab, was talking over a mobile phone while driving. A passerby said that the accused attempted to escape from the spot, hit the constable with his car and dragged him on the bonnet. Soon, PCR was called and the accused were nabbed.
