Yuva Chetna rally of Young Panthers proceeded to Amabaraan at Akhnoor today. The rally led by Pushvinder Singh Manhas addressed a large gathering and took stock of the public grievances. The people in large numbers including youth and students joined JKNPP. They expressed their resentment against the mal-governance of the present government led by NC-Congress coalition on all the fronts and vowed to give a befitting reply to the present dispensation in the forthcoming parliamentary and assembly elections. Pushvinder Singh Manhas Sr. Vice-President of Yuva Panthers exhorted the youth to spread the message of ‘Reorganization’ whereby every region of the state should have separate legislative, financial and political powers. They appealed the youth to desist themselves from the social evils like drug addiction, corruption and communalism. The youth leader also appealed the people of Akhnoor to unite and exhibit the great secular Dogra character to fight for their genuine demand for Akhnoor to be granted District status.
