ZAYD WILL NOT GET ANOTHER REPRIEVE FROM THE EUTH LIST٭ PLEASE SHARE! ♥´´¯`•.¸¸.٭✻☆ ZAYD ♥´´¯`•.¸¸.٭✻☆ lost & alone~~ From running down a street in the Rockaways to a cramped cage in noisy, scary, chaotic Brooklyn ACC—Zayd is sitting there scared and wondering where it all went wrong. He balked at being muzzled during his initial medical exam but was found to be in good health. Of course, now he’s got the shelter “cold”. And during his behavioral eval, Zayd did the best he could though he still was scared. He didn’t care about that hand moving his food dish, was fine with the “look”, the “squeeze” and playing tag. When that strange dog came in, Zayd rushed over to him but “showed no aggression”. No one has come for Zayd and ACC has decided his time with them is up—he’s on tomorrow’s euthanasia list AGAIN. Tonight, Zayd needs to find that person who sees in him the fear and nervousness about these last days, who knows that he’s a boxer and reacted like a boxer to the muzzle, the crate, the noise, who knows that Zayd wants to show everybody what a good boy he is but needs some time to decompress. He’s likely a bit too scared to be around young children but he’s ready to go at a moment’s notice. Are you the someone who understands what Zayd is trying to tell everyone? If you are, step up to foster or adopt Zayd. Tomorrow it will be all over for this boy and he’ll never understand what he did wrong.
