General Manager This is the most senior position with overall responsibility for the operation which requires a suitably qualified and experienced person with the following minimum requirements: a relevant degree or other tertiary qualification; advanced computer literacy; good people management skills and ability to communicate at all levels, including communication with external customers. A deep knowledge and understanding of the industry and the cement manufacturing process is a prerequisite. 2. Engineering Manager This is a senior position which requires a suitably qualified and experienced person with the following minimum requirements: A degree in Engineering (Mechanical and / or Electrical); ZIE or equivalent professional membership; Advanced Computer Literacy; at least 5 years of hands on and/or management experience as a senior; experience as an engineer in a heavy industry or mining environment. Experience in the cement industry would be an added advantage; a sound knowledge of all Engineering disciplines/ functions, and a proven track record in plant maintenance. 3. Engineering Forepersons we require experienced, mature and energetic individuals with proven track records of supervising sizeable teams of subordinates. They will be charged with ensuring high levels of plant and equipment maintenance and availability. 4. Engineering / Instrument Technicians these must be apprentice time-served journeymen with at least 3 years of experience post learnership. 5. Engineering Maintenance Planner. We require a time-served journeyman, with a mechanical trade’s background and many years of experience as a planner 6. Quality Assurance Chemist a degree or similar qualification in chemistry or chemical engineering, and hand-on experience in a laboratory is a pre-requisite. Successful candidates must be prepared to be deployed to any one of the Companys operations including the existing Bulawayo and Colleen Bawn Factories at management discretion, either at the start of their employment or later, depending on the Companys requirements. For all the above positions, experience in a heavy industrial environment is a pre-requisite, but cement industry experience will be an added advantage.
