Zach and I set out on our first official Black Friday shopping experience last night. We wanted a new TV for our new living room addition and the one we wanted was a 6:00 event at Walmart. We get to the store at 4:45 and the parking lot was only about half full. Get parked, find where we need to be. We are the 7th people in line for the tv and in a secluded little isle where there wasnt a lot of people. I kept saying to Zach, this really isnt bad & I cant believe there isnt more people here. So weve stood there for an hour hearing the employees announce every 15 minutes not to put items in the cart until they announce to do so. 6:00 rolls around, we receive the ticket for the tv and they announce people could start shopping. Oh...my...gosh...No lie, I thought the building was falling down. It sounded as if the place was being bombed. People were going CAH-RAZY. So Zach and I have what we went for, run to check out, are the first ones to make it to the check out counter, pay, run to the truck (noticing there are cars EVERYWHERE at this point. Parked anywhere and anyway they could get their cars in), drive around the building to pick up the tv (second ones in line there), and are actually driving home at 6:07........Heck flippin yes.
