Zancig is the techno alias of Kris Baha, one third of the team that created Survivor! (RIP) and part of the driving force behind Power Station. Separating himself from the jacking house vibe of Kris Baha, Zancig dives dick first in techno combining a mixture of classic Detroit & Chicago sounds with the newer European wave of the 90’s and 00’s. His closing sets at the now defunct Survivor! Were stuff of legends, having punters howling like dawgs with delirium into the wee hours of Sunday morning. Zancig will be bringing his A game next Friday night and you can expect to hear tunes from some of his influences including Voiski, Truncate, Rod Malmok, Sleeparchive and labels MDR Official, Token Records & Random Island.
