Zen garden Dream 3/4/2014 My dream starts off in a beautiful garden looking to see if there was anybody about that I knew. this garden had many beautiful plants in it one being a big tree that had pretty pink flowers draping down from it and white sand with wavy patterns all around its base. I sat on the bench that was there to take in all of its splendour it was magnificent then I started to wander why where there no petals on the ground do they not fall and what does this garden really mean I had seen them in pictures before and on movies. Martha appears shaking her head and she sits beside me and briefly hugs me and starts explaining , the breathtaking but brief beauty of the blossoms symbolizes the transient nature of life. The purpose of the garden is to provide a place of meditation and contemplation and is called a Zen Garden, your thoughts are so loud my dear you really should consider building one at home, a sand garden appears and I am standing with a rake in my hand you might as well start here while I talk my dear Martha says in her motherly no nonsense tone of voice as she continues her talk A Zen garden represents a setting for human activity and is an expressions of individual worlds of thought., meaning of Zen is self-examination, spiritual refinement and enlightenment, learning to control and soften ones thoughts and chatter my dear. Sand represents water. Gates made out of wooden fences or cloth symbolize boundaries. Stones are major elements, and can symbolize eternity, fertility and are considered more important than trees. Another type of Zen garden is one that is lush and green, and interestingly, would often be designed as a compliment to the dry Zen garden. This type of garden creates a magical illusion of a long journey found within a specific space. Many of the gardens have paths that meander through the garden, making their way around beautiful trees and shrubs as well as over streams and near waterfalls and statues. Each twist and turn of the path is designed to keep the individual’s mind on the spiritual journey. Ah see come see what you have done your thoughts have soften as you take on the task with ease, is there any more questions oh no I reply and settle back down next to her to see what I had accomplished . Oh dear me she says its like being in Alice in wonderland when your friends turn up as kitty Kat walks over swishing her tail the garden turns into a rose garden and more friends appear wearing funny costumes and I giggle Martha says in her motherly stern voice you know your thoughts created this dont you and she couldnt help but laugh along with me. Affirmation I will learn to soften and control my inner thoughts and chatter, My surrounding are peaceful, noise just disappears, I am at peace and safe in surroundings and on my spiritual journey. •☆*´¨`☽ ( ☆* Shared With Love....
