Zeus is AWESOME! This is what I know about Zeus. I visited him today at the Baldwin Shelter. He is locked in isolation, with no easy access, I believe because this shelter requires this breed to be temperament tested for any adoption. Since Zeus was examined and listed with lameness/limping to his rt hind leg the shelter will not do an eval on him. Seems Joe Public cant adopt him because of the needed temperament test.The clerk, Francine, said he will only be released to a Los Angeles County approved rescue who sign a trust/health waiver. The paperwork given to us as his medical print out lists multi superficial lacerations that are healing, dermatitis and the lameness cranial cruciate rupture, soft tissue injury. Nothing about dental issues. He is on Duramaxx and Cephalexin. Christy Dans pictures are a good representation of him, though I think he is more adorable! He is only 76lbs and he has the larger head..he looks great. I am not a bully breed expert, but his temperament was sweet, maybe lazy-ish, interested in what was going on, will look you in the eye and wag his tail. He seems relaxed and laid back in my opinion. He took treats more delicately than my pups at home, giving licks to my hands after. Please PM if you have questions. Please keep posting him he is very sweet and deserving of a loving home!
