Zeus is a 7 month old black pup he fractured his left femur his owner could not afford to have it fixed so he brought him to the vet to be euthanized so he wouldnt suffer. The vet called us to see if we could help. We said yes so he had surgery which required a plate to be put in. Zeus is now on 6-8 weeks of crate rest and only can be taken out on lead to do his business. He is a very good pup but he told me we are being mean by keeping him in a crate and not letting him run around like a typical energetic puppy. I explained he has to stay crated and have a lots of rest so his fracture will grow back together correctly. Not sure if he believed me but he is pretty good in his crate.
