Zimbabwes September 11! It is one year on since Zimbabwe was stampeded to a sham election which was allegedly won by the ruining party zany pf . While the narrative of whether to give those elections a clean bill of health differs from one person to another, depending on the persons frame of mind or political party they support. Specious arguments have been advanced from many quarters , but it is encouraging although sad that SADC could not be pinned down to declare the elections FAIR. It is neither here nor there whether these election passed credibility test, at least for now because that is an argument for another day. However it is especially sad that this day will stick out in the minds of all Zimbabweans like the American September 11 attacks or like the death of John F Kennedy, it is said every American even those who were not yet born remembers where they were on the sad day. It is a public secret that this day dented every hope there was in most of our compatriots at home and abroad many people were hoping for a change of guard at Munhumutapa. Everyone had hoped 2008 was a just notice of eviction to the incumbent and 2013 was going to be the coup de grace. I remember at that time as the results came out it was a painful experience to know that we were still saddled by the regime for another 5 years yet as if the 33 that we had had were not enough. Zimbabwe has barely moved from July 31 , if it has, then it has moved in the South wards trajectory. Under the dead hand of Zany pf the nation is virtually collapsing on our watch. The hoary leadership is preoccupied with a faceless facebook character Baba Jukwa, all the energies expended are not commensurate with the energies and efforts directed to pulling Zimbabwe back from the precipitous descent into a pre-2008 abyss. The country is going to hell in a hand basket but nobody care. A whole year after the election the future of our nation is uncertain as the civil servants next pay day. The minister handling government purse has been termed a minister without finance a first in the history of human beings since the time of ramapithecus and a first in the history of politics. Since August last year any number of companies have closed shop, dozens of thousands of working Zimbabweans have been retrenched and shown their walking papers . The number of degreed air time vendors, loafers, touts and unlicensed kombi drivers has increased exponentially in the aftermath of the 31-07-13 grand heist. Tens of thousands youthful and productive Zimbabweans have skipped the boarders to be economic and political refugees elsewhere. It is even curious that a whole minister of home affairs is in talks to keep the citizens away from home. For a country not at war this quite a feat wouldnt you agree cdes? Zany pf had been generous with promises in the run up to the elections last year.2 million jobs promised by zany pf in the run up to the election has turned out to be pie in the sky like what many of us expected. Even the rotten rat wrapped up as Zim- nonsense, sorry zimasset whatever that means, has failed to ease malaise obtaining in our mother land. We have been told ad nauseum that the mongoloid chinese midgets are going to fund the zim-nonsense but up to date nothing has happen. Zim- asset has remained a dead rat that it is, with no buyers. This is a nation bereft of hope all in one fell swoop our hope was lost when zany pf stole another 5 years of our lifetime. Zany pfs victory last year is a victory that nobody celebrated, we did not see thousands of happy Zimbabweans celebrating even the zanoids themselves could not dare celebrate a contrived victory. Well finagling of votes proved to be the easier part but moving the country after a pickpocketed victory has proved once and for all that zany pf is a clueless organization. One that represents the past than the future. It still beats me how any individual with all his or her marbles about them would invest the future of our country in the hands of zany pf, tired hands at that. It could that one has his or her bottom in the gravy train or has their mouths on the feeding trough. Zvakwana, sokwanele , enough is enough!
