Zoe is doing great...She always wakes up well from a general anesthetic. Shes been eating and drinking (while watching Frozen) and went for a walk round the ward earlier. The surgeon was happy with the surgery and removed what was there, this was nice and clean, so should heal pretty quickly. We dont know for sure what it is at the moment and theres no point guessing....however the surgeon feels from sight that it certainly wasnt worse case scenario of a big growth tunneling into bone etc. He had a good look into both her ears and they also look good so he didnt consider grommets at the moment. Her hearing is actually very good based on her last test. Well stay for the night and should be out by lunchtime tomorrow. My guess is that the next round of chemo will be next week, but we have follow up doctor appointments on Friday so well know more then. She was being silly and wouldnt give me a smile....this was the best I could get..
