Zoeys doing really well today!! She is now on 4Ltrs and has been awake all afternoon!! She just took a little nap!! I just wanted to let everyone know that... It is very possible that what Zoey came down with is the Enterovirus D68 However we will not know for quit awhile by the time we will findout if thats what she has she will be better!! Unfortunately at Hopkins when they test for all Viruss they dont have the exact formula here to test for that enterovirus. So whats happening is its cross identifying it as rhinovirus so its very possible that she could have both or just Enerovirus. There is a person that is going to take all the positive Rhinoviruss cultures and test for Enerovirus but we wont know for several months the results. They think its a very high possibility that she has both because of how bad she was when she came in. Shes had Rhinovirus 4 times this year so far and has not been this bad for any of them. 15Ltrs 100% Highflow oxygen is the most shes ever needed to be on. But We are moving in the right direction. With that being said she is improving quickly! Please continue to keep her in your prayers!
