___ There is a song that always takes me to new dimensions, and it’s known as “#TheGates” by the #Cunninlynguists. This song always gives me #SomethingToThinkAbout. The song is about a WHITE #FireFighter who has died and is descending into heaven for judgement. But an #ANGEL stops him at the gates and begins telling him all he has done wrong. Having married a mixed woman whom died after she had his daughter, he became #RACIST. Leaving black babies to BURN in flames on purpose and his #RACIAL reaction to his daughter getting pregnant her BLACK boyfriend. The fire fighter tried to #JUSTIFY all his actions and tried to PROVE he had reason for all the he did. He tried hard to justify his #RACISM. Even though he was once in love with a mixed woman, he COULDNT ACCEPT that his daughter was going to make his same mistake and the #HATE that grew from his wife’s death, turned him from his pregnant daughter. After the angel pointed all of these things he did in the PAST that he kept SECRET, his FINAL JUDGEMENT was to fight fires for #ETERNITY. #HELL. What he put those BLACK BABIES through, he was to PAY BACK FOR IT IN FULL. This song left a big impact on me. There’s a lot of HYPOCRISY from people like this fire fighter mentioned, and I SEE IT in many people I meet. Its amazing how people try to justify their racism or judgements towards people. Not just about the racism, but also how people do things themselves, and #JUDGE other people for doing the SAME THINGS they themselves have done. #PARENTS OFTEN do this to their #KIDS. When they see their #CHILDREN make the SAME DECISIONS they have when they were young, they LASH OUT and CONDEMN. INSTEAD of giving them the #LOVE, #SUPPORT, and #HELP their children they need, they OPPRESS their children and put them down. But it’s a DOUBLE EDGED SWORD, and SOONER or LATER in #LIFE, there will be dues that need to be payed back for. Its something wonderful WHEN YOU SEE LIFE THROUGH TWO PERSPECTIVES. There’s YOUR OWN and the perspective of OTHERS. Instead of just seeing things BLACK and WHITE, it takes you to different dimensions to ... see things for WHAT THEY REALLY ARE.
