… a crucial day in my career life… eight sports fields (4 natural turf and 4 synthetic turf) recently built under a fast track project are currently being subjected to tests related to playability and global standards (names of the inspecting agency and the prescribed standards are kept confidential for the time being). Once all the tests are passed, these fields shall be ready to host international matches wherein globally recognized clubs / teams shall be participating. Apart from that, it shall be endorsed in my career documents as a globally recognized Sports Field Specialist – since I had project managed all these 8 fields independently - A to Z, right from the EPC stage to the ongoing T & Cx phase. On the other hand, if any of these tests fail, it shall reflect negatively on my professional excellence and technical competence, since I am responsible and accountable for lapses, if any – at any stage of Engineering, Procurement or Construction.. I was little tensed for the last two or three days.. As always, now I leave everything to the Almighty, hoping for the best, but ready to face the worst !! Appreciate if you all could support me with your blessings and prayers..
