a friend sent me this poem and it touched my heart ... hope it helps your Mom and Dad Emily ... I thought of you an closed my eyes , and prayed to God today . I asked what makes a mother and i know i heard him say . A mother has a baby this we know is true . But God can be a mother to when your babies not with you ? Yes , you can he replied with confidence in his voice, i give many women babies . When they leave its not their choice . Some i send for a lifetime and others for a day . And some i send to feel the womb but theres no need to stay . I just dont understand this God , i want my baby here . He took a breath an cleared his throat an then i saw a tear .who had so much love for me , i learned my lesson very quickly my mom had to set me free . I miss my mommy so much But , i visit her each day when she goes to sleep on her pillows this is where i lay . I stoke her hair an kiss her cheek and i whisper in her ear Mommy dont be sad today Im your baby an Im just right here . So you see my dear sweet one . Your children are okay , they are here in my home an this is where they will stay . Theyll wait for you with me until your lesson is through and on the day that you come home . Theyll be at the gate waiting for you . So now you see what makes a mother , its the feeling in your heart its the love you had for your child right from the start
