a note from Mike: Just returned from Federal Court with two more victories against the bad guys (counterfeits and knockoffs) making our record 7-0. Both of these parties were warned before hand and asked not to continue to infringe our designs. They did not listen and paid for it. To emphasize why RDJ aggressively pursues these infringements and counterfeits; when I got back to my office, there was a bracelet that was sent in to us for repair by an unsuspecting Ronaldo fan that received it as a gift. It was a knock-off fake made by another wirecrafter using low quality materials and poor workmanship. Although there were minor differences in the bracelet design, the customer thought they were getting a Ronaldo bracelet and sent it to us. We fight to protect our good name, the stores that sell our fine jewelry and our wonderful and loyal fans against these incidents. There are hundreds of wirecrafters in America and Ronaldo knows, and is friends with, dozens. They are great artists whom we admire and make beautiful jewelry of their own. They are not the issue. Ronaldo designs continue to be copied and bad people will always try to ride his successful coattails to their own gain but I will find them!
