a very satisfying result after several years since I was involved in writing a Recommended Plan for the Peel Watershed in the northern Yukon. Great care and attention was directed at understanding hydro-ecological and biological values, upon which both traditional and conventional economic land-uses were considered within the context of a modern Treaty - the Yukon Umbrella Final Agreement - and a very transparent public engagement process . Hopefully, well see this approach becoming more widely adopted in planning practice..
