about ten years ago i went through most of central america on bus heading back to america. i was 14 at the time and it was pretty wild, before that i was in el salvador for a week and took a road trip to nicaragua, took a whole day. i was in nicaragua and shit was dope! but i was ungrateful cause i still wanted all the necessities i had as a kid, cable, my playstation all that bullshit. i didnt really enjoy or really check out the spots as i should of. the moments where i did check out cool places though i was amazed how different it was. even though central america is a by product of all the bat shit crazy stuff that happened in the 80s it was interesting to see that people, no matter where you go are all the same. people. people have lives ,people make a living, now this was 2002 so if i go back now as a grown man im a have a different perspective on how life has been.im a be a bit more ansy to check out the whole country. mexico was cool though,i got to admit. honduras is a cool spot nicaragua from up and down the coast is awesome. san juan del sur is the coolest beach i ever been too, like all the malibu spots dont got shit on that cove. that beach was cool, first time i ever slept on the beach first time i ever seen so many stars in my life. it cool im a live with . worse thing is the taxis, it like lyft but on the shady side. only thing i really did get from my whole trip is how people hustle out there. people hustle like crazy. coolest shit i ever saw and ill never forget it, im in san salvador and we just caught like rush hour, streets are busy its me my step dad and his two homies and we are merging on like a round about and its packed but the traffic is moving rather fast. i look out the window and this dude is on a scooter and he has his girl riding with him, and he has something on his lap i thought it was a package or something, but it was this dudes baby. the little dude had to be 2 or something. i was bugging out cause im thining this dude has his whole life in his hands. he has his girl his kid and the means for him to get around, to be mobile, to get by day by day. it was a potrait in motion this guy was next to us and i was trippin cause hes trying to squeeze between us and a van, he got by and i never saw that dude again. but that stayed in my head forever. you learn alot out of your comfort zone, shit that you did not know and in less than a second they turn into instincts. that shit lives with you forever.
