after Nikola Tesla accepted his influence, swami(Vivekananda) asked him to formulate an equation between mass and energy, hence telling him that both are same. Hindu scriptures mention everywhere that mass is a form of energy. swami, like any yogi, had experienced it (in short, kundalini) even my fancy for mathematics was related with this man, Vivekananda. I always thought that he wanted mathematical formulations for Vedanta. Only while talking with a monk from RKM, he said, swami ji (Vivekananda) wanted a scientist to be a better scientist, a boatman to be a better boatman. Thus he asked Tesla else what mathematics does Vedanta need when it is itself a verified science? and my fancy for mathematics, ends
