after much thought, amy and i have decided to play live the way we recorded the 7 original albums, which is to play with a drum looper rather than a live drummer. the change will enable us to do more of what we love, which is getting out on the road and playing music, seeing old friends and making some new ones. basically, it will allow us to continue what weve been trying to do since 86: slacking, skateboarding, and just hanging out together 24/7. although we have played live and toured with the looper in the past, i think it will take a few months for us to get adjusted to it again and get ready to play live. next time you see us we will be playing an entire set of brand new songs which will all be on our upcoming album still rolling. wrapping this up, i want to thank you all for the support of sadplant over the years. it hasnt ever gotten old to us and we hope to continue on until we grow up and get real jobs. :)
