album reviews are a waste of time, but heres one anyway the new Fallujah is pretty ok. a lot of it feels like standard tech death with riffs that could be pretty interchangeable with any other tech death band, and spacey synth leads on top of everything to try to give it a more unique vibe (maybe those synths are guitars, which would be pretty cool, but i guess i wont know until i see them later this month). i also wish the vocals were bit more dynamic than they are, because the constant low voice gets old and repetitive after a while. those negatives aside, theres some really rad riffwork throughout and it managed to keep me interested from start to finish, so ultimately its a really solid effort. while this one doesnt really stand out or change the game enough to truly call it progressive, if youre into tech death with really tight production (which im not, typically), then theres no reason you shouldnt love this album. 7/10
