alright mommas. With Jace being so young Im extra cautious with him, so I netted advice. He woke up this morning with an awful cough. It sounds like theres a giant ball of mucus stuck inside his lungs. He cant even fully cry because of the effort it seems to take to get oxygen with all of the congestion in his chest. I sat with him in a sauna-like bathroom for over 10 minutes, and he almost sounds worse. He tries coughing, but most of the time he cant. Mom and Taylor said he was breathing pretty good early today, but now I can hear every breath. Its not a high pitched wheezing, and its not like his face is changing colors. I can just tell its an effort. Do I wait it out, or do I talk to the on-call provider to see if he needs to go in? Theres very little congestion in his nose by the way, its all in his chest.
