...and finally. I had a call from Martin up the road who`s just moved in to a house a few doors down from his mum, Brenda, the matriarch of the road. He`s still getting to grips with living on his own and had a bath last night, but found there was no hot water available this morning ( if all else fails, ring Alan). So I went down and had a look at the boiler, nothing appeared to be out of order but I was puzzled to see that all the LCD dials were dead......Martin, like myself, is money conscious and switches everything off at the wall last thing at night. Once I traced the plug lead back to the switched off wall switch and switched it on...sigh ...He now has oodles of hot water. Jack of all trades, me :-) Nite nite.
