anon - Ive just put my two and a half son in school (2 weeks now). The teacher is his (pro-attachment-parenting) aunt and there are only four people in the class but my son is not adjusting well - its been traumatic, each day it gets harder. He loves being at home with his mom. Ive never ever pushed him before - weve always found a gentle way to do things. But I am at a crossroads now. He is ready for school in many ways. I am also expecting. What are other moms experiences? Like everything else before now for us - will he show me he is fully ready for school, or are some things just necessary to go through? Cant bear the tears. Thanks for any input.
