“anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” -2 Corinthians 5:16-18 I am loving Spring. I love the warmth of the sun on my face. I love that fresh clean smell in the morning that kind of washes over me when I first open the front door. Spring always feels like something brand new is happening. In my conversations with God as of late I hear Him whispering that he is refreshing, inspiring and calling many within CTK Monroe to newness. New starts in life, daring to begin this whole idea of trusting what God has done already within your lives and letting it make it’s way to the surface. I myself feel like Jesus and I have begun walking on some new roads together. I just want to encourage you to continue exploring what it is that God has done and is doing within you. Newness is often awkward and while it’s exciting, it’s also a little scary. Spiritual growth will often be resisted by those around you who are spiritually dead, or at the very least spiritually numb. Find a friend to talk about what God is talking to you about as of late. Find some time to take a walk in the sunshine and talk to God about how he feels about you and where he’s leading you. -Andy
