back from specialist #1 (LOL Dr. House - nope its not a joke! Except she is a woman) Anyhow test came back positive for the 2 that Dr. Siddiqui had already found and another spiked she said which has ruled out lupus. We are leaning towards MS more and more now. YUK. Lots of pain in my spine and neck that continues to grow - I told her with these 5 new prescriptions my bedside table is starting to look like a pharmacy. No pain meds whatsoever - she does not believe in opiates or narcotics which I totally agree with. She said with these tests it has proven that I will have to maintain and control the pain and fatigue for the rest of my life at this point. I have to do 3 months of testing before they will confirm an actual diagnosis. I have another overnighter test at hospital next week. Hate it but it is necessary. I know it sounds crazy to hope for lupus but I was. I hate the shaking and seizures so much but it looks like they are here to stay according to tests run so far. My mother tried to make me feel better about an all liquid diet for the rest of my life by saying hey at least you can still swallow liquid instead of having a feeding tube right into the stomach the rest of your life She is soooo right. I have a lot to be thankful for - It is just so frustrating and it is way hard to go from living normal to COLD TURKEY this new way of life. Hey one positive thing....I am a REAL cheap date at a restaurant! LOL Oh wow I crave a steak right now SOOOOOO badly. LOL I will trust that all will work out the way it is supposed to in the end.
