before facebook spontaneously implodes from all the indyref stuff - got a wee announcement to make to all my NZ friends. after many a sleepless night thinking about it - last week I accepted a new job to work overseas at a new hospital in abu dhabi. an opportunity like this doesnt come around often for me - and it took the heart a lonnnng time to catch up to the head about it. gutted at the prospect of leaving NZ life - i absolutely adore everyone in and around me here - and i WILL be back - but right now theres an adventure to be had and i have to give it a shot.. . will not be leaving till late Nov / early Dec at least - hope to see some of you at the house party this weekend for a good old yarn about it - and to all others well have plenty time to catch up beforehand dont worry. cheers for listening guys - it didnt feel good keeping it so secret - bit of a bombshell to some - but had to be sure it was the right thing to do! .x.
