begging pasco residence to read....I attended a meeting last night at PCAS. All week they have been being assessed and trained on shelter management and health/well being of the residence with noticeable changes. HUGE changes as a matter of fact. Here is the problem, now that we know how do do the right thing, there is not enough paid staff to do it. :-( This is an URGENT COMMUNITY MATTER!!! Unless some of the 200+ registered volunteers come (and new faces welcome) the inmates at the shelter, particularly those in building C, will slip right back into the danger of isolation and again, cabin fever will take its toll and lives will be lost. PLEASE, JUST AN HOUR WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH!!!! 2 OR 3 days a week will save lives. Be a part of the movement to make Pasco a 90/10 shelter. LETS SAVE LIVES PASCO
