[bit.ly/1Clo6bD] Pioneer Generation (PG) card holders can now enjoy an additional 50% off subsidized services such as consultation and blood tests at polyclinics and specialist outpatient clinics. They can also receive subsidies at participating GP and dental clinics under the Community Health Assist Scheme (CHAS). Drug discount, however, will take effect on 1 Jan 2015, as the enhancement to drug subsidies is an “extensive change” and more time is needed before its implementation, said the Ministry of Health. Pioneers are required to bring their Pioneer Generation card and NRIC when visiting a CHAS clinic.
