can you describe the African mindset........?. it was in my early years in school in Suomi-Finland and the teacher asked me to write an essay on this question; can you describe the african mindset. it is a long time ago, but i remember this question very well. it was a Saturday. and it was a faculty exams. i didnt write the essay. YES. you heard me right. i refused to write it. those were the days when i was young, vibrant and active. always ready to defend the image of Ogyakrom and africa. those were the days when nothing beats africa and africans as far i was concerned. i went to the teachers office the following Monday and told him why i refused to write the essay. i told him that Africa is a continent and not a country. i also told him that i am not an expert on Africa. and that if he wants he could ask me any question on Ogyakrom (GH). in Suomi-Finland, faculty exams isnt compulsory. one can always postpone it. the teacher.... a very nice, polite and reasonable man understood my point. what has happened to oseikrom abrantie now?. i ask myself these days. guess what?. the teacher asked me the same question in my final graduation essay. then it was compulsory. cant refuse. what happened to my Ogyakrom?. i still ask myself again and again and again these days. i wish the teacher is here now to ask me again the same question. what is happened to my Africa?. then it was Sudan, Liberia, Sierra Leone. after came Rwanda. now its Somalia, Congo, CAR and South Sudan. and why in the world of all places South Sudan?..... that brings us to the same question; CAN YOU DESCRIBE THE AFRICAN MINDSET?.
