code armstrong, code armstrong , over and over at the Elkhart hospital. The ER was buzzing as my 72 year old dad with alzheimers licked the ass of some orderly. I had warned him Dad was there because of violent attacks. These happen at the drop of a needle .Never knowing what will set him off. He touched on Dads fight or flight response. Dad could not Flight so he went right to fight. Five or ten guards and orderlies later they tie my Dad to a bed. Ten more hours after that we move from the ER to a room.Its on the second floor known as 2 northwest. we love dad and this was VERY hard to watch . Now I know he will get the help with his meds to level him out .Bringing him home is a top priority.
