The new movie “Jobs” based on Steve Jobs, founder of Apple has a scene where Jobs and Steve Wozniak, cofounder, we’re naming process for the company. They were bouncing all different types of ideas around when Job’s has an epiphany. The name Apple came to his head because it was refreshing and everyone wants one. We’re not really sure how true all of this is but he was correct about the name. While it’s a common word, an everyday object but what makes it so good is that it is completely unexpected, particularly in an industry which was dominated by companies with names such as IBM, Hewlett Packard and the like. Describe your company but use words from other industries, products, plants, animals or whatever, just make sure it fits and is unexpected. companynamings/
