do we trust the uk government, either tory or labour, or liberal, - TopicsExpress

do we trust the uk government, either tory or labour, or liberal, to do the best for the ordinary working class man, and i am not just talking about scotland here, i am talking about the whole of the uk. well according to the majority of people, the answer to that question must be no. if you were to ask most people, though i will admit not all in england and wales, they would say they voted ukip as a protest vote. meaning that they have lost faith in the mainstream parties to do the bidding of the electorate. now england seems to me to be the more right wing of all the countries in the uk, and the most nationalist. they dont trust their government, so why should we in scotland. but scotland is not politically as right wing as england, and some people in scotland are still prepared to listen to the better together parties, meaning the tories, the labour party, and the liberals. i must confess i find that strange. i know that the people in england are quite likely to vote for a conservative or ukip candidate, in the next election, and we could end up in a country as right wing as germany in the thirties, out of europe, and with no parliament of our own. is that really what we want, a country driven by the extreme right, and all that entails. germany in the twenties and thirties used the jews as a focal point of hatred to the german people, in much the same way as the right wing parties are now using immigrants in this country. the jews were supposed to have had controls of all the money, took all the best jobs, did not support germany in the first world war, and the german people fell for it. now, does anyone see any comparisons here. like the asians before them, we have relatively poor hard working people from eastern europe coming here and taking the lowest paid jobs, working hard and saving to better themselves. they work hard, and save hard, open their own businesses and better themselves. how many british unemployed will get up at seven and go to work in a hand car wash seven days a week for minimum and sometimes less than minimum wage. oh there were some, but most of them worked casual and cash in hand. the majority of the jobs they take are the ones that no one else wants. the only difference between them and us is their work ethic, and dare i say their ambition. next is europe, the european union in particular. some people say, its taking over our country. its making all the laws. well look at europe before the european union, look at the wars between england and germany, england and france, england and spain, russia and germany, russia and france, sweden and russia, spain and france, spain and england, and it goes on, and on, down through the centuries. since the e.u came into being, there has not been a war between the major powers in europe for nearly seventy years, the longest time we have seen peace in europe ever. there was the war in the balkans, but they were not members of the e.u. and i could not see that happening now. what the e.u. does is bring in the poorest countries and brings them up to a decent standard of living, and allows them then to be able to afford to buy the goods and services that the rest of europe produces, and we can offer them a fair price for theirs. it creates markets where everyone is happy and has a reasonable standard of life. then there was the banking crash and the depression of 2008 till now, that was not caused by europe, that was caused by greedy bankers and america. greedy bankers that we allowed to run about blindly, investing in super sized american mortgage companies offering mortgages with little or no security, and following their lead. we all remember the crazy mortgages that were on offer, to help cover the fact that these cretins did not really know what they were up to. so called financial advisors, without a an o level in woodwork were offering us the moon and the stars, and no regulation. anyway thats what we have to look forward to if we stay in the united kingdom, an extreme right wing government, trying to bully europe, and punch above its weight, back to the me, me, me, culture. well i am sorry but its not a place i want to live in. give me a place where there is fairness, happiness, and contentment. i have not been in a war, and i dont want anyone else to be in one either. i want to live in a place where if i choose to to anywhere in europe, i know i will be treated the same as i am in my home country, not having to use a passport, being able to get proper medical treatment if i am ill, and more or less the same legal status as anyone else. the only way i can see that is to vote yes. the alernatives are just to horrible to contemplate.
