driveway rocks a bit straighter. Now that perennials are on sale, i need to add some late season color. Seems everything fabulous has bloomed already. My pink Hollyhocks bit the dust. Theres always a wonderful surprise, in gardening, and a bit of sadness. I love that it all balances. So many great metaphors in nature. The second pic is the right side of the house. The towering Lilac over the fence. The black-eyed Susans, though i loved them out front next to the Agastache, are much happier with some shade. The ants chewed them to bits out front last year. Little buggers. Now i have grits. And they can kiss them (thanks Samantha!) The bunny herb planter i refused to spend $25 in the store is doing beautifully (its so pretty i cant cut it, lol.) And my new balloon flowers, half price, by front steps (the queen annes lace was so tall, you could barely climb the steps. I didnt put it there, but it was so happy i didnt have the heart to move it.) Have a great day everyone!
