england has some good journalists,reporters holding politicians,those in high office to account by questions and highlighting global issues including john snow,krishnamurthy of channel news as well as rageh omar.jeremey paxman of bbc to name a few top incisive probing questions just as churchill,slim,once top politicians,military commanders who haseen action were fearless in asking questions,once being journalists themselves and upholding democracy,transparencey.hence,what would ghandi say about indian secretary generals refusal to answer questions and is it moral,ethical of india or england to attend the conference when putting aside politics,self interests aside to go to a country and attend a conference where united nations,world body has held its government guilty of war crimes and human rights abuses which have been recorded by channel 4 news.indeed,commonwealth and especially india would be held to be hypocritical if it doesnt condemn the genocide and urge boycott of the conferene and be accused of double standards as after all,india under rajiv ghandi called for boycott of south africa over aparthied and pakisthan was thrown out or suspended from commonwealth just as fiji has been over is coup against a democratic elected government by rambuka.hence,regardless of race,religion,class or creed,surely our government in uk should take a lead and name and shame the largest democracy n the world,india for not boycotting or urging a boycott until and unless sri lank becomes a genuine democracy and allows a free press,dissent and protects minorities.hence,why nt able activist in uk plc start a petition in double quicktime and hit 100,000 signatures to debate a motio to boycott sri lanka meeting and urging all freedom loving folks and activist like 38 degrees,avaaz to mobilise global opinion for a boycott of the meeting so democracy triumphs and ghandis quest for justice,liberty,truth prevails not only in india but uk,sri lanka bt also in commonwealth.
