even say this statement is fatous that it is analogous to saying that being a genius doesn’t and would never depict being a dullard. Well all the aforementioned argument may be correct in a way,The statement sounds more like a conundrum,a paradox which needs indepth analysis and undisputable facts to be proven. Religion depicts faith ,believe in supernatural power which inturn have effect on our life as a whole, religion to those who are religious instill moral consciousness,intellectual awakening,non-materialistic approach to life.It is meant to serve as a reservoir of peace and unity anywhere it can be felt.It is meant to instill in man the consciousness that we are all one entity with discrete sub-entity(in terms of different race and ethnics).Those who are religious in an utopian state are meant to be seen as good role models,unmaterialistic.They should always practise whatever they teaches. That has rarely been the case in our beloved country.Religious scholars have clearly amassed the natural weapon of religion into political support for their candidates, religious posts have become political appointment.Religion has been the easiest way to go unpunished after commiting a grevious crime, Clergy men prefer having luxury of wealth to helping their members. I would be correct if I say confidently that Religious has cause more harm than good in our beloved country. This happens majorly because the empty minded follower are just dogged about their beliefs, All religion preaches peace ,unity and tolerance of one another then how come boko haram, ku klux klan erupted?,why has religious pogrom become so rampant?, why has religion segregation so common than the air we breathe?.We have all turned and twisted religion to suit our selfish desires.The clergy man is at fault for failing to instill discipline amongst his followers, he is at fault for being over materialistic,he is at fault for concealing the truth .The follower which I belong is at fault for wholly failing to understand religion in the right sense,for basing judgement on what he think is not what is, he is at fault for blindly following a religion without thorough research about it,he is at fault for segregating others who are not of is religion as being ungodly,unworthy,untrustworthy. Everything would have been fine when we all as one tackle the enemy common to all of us,Everything would be fine again when we understand religious in the true sense,Everything would be fine again when our clergy men rise up to their role and say the truth always no matter who it is for or against .In mahatma ghandi tone”be the change you wish to see”
