...experiences guide us in contradictory ways....technology is going to change the way, we live in the future and youre going to have to solve some very hard problems......part of the work is going to be fundamentally human, tied inexorably with qualities of human condition- human emotion- that dominate the whole of history. These things are not separate, but are inexorably linked, and you are in a better place to understand that connection than me.....History has a habit of throwing curve balls at each generation that nobody saw coming.... ONe of the Valuable advice by a teacher i have ever read. These are the responsibilities they teach their students...surely such technical students are also going to participate in politics someways.
