feeling blessed this morning, I have two large planters outside on my patio and one of them started smoking like crazy this morning and the dirt was very hot , these planters weigh over 100 pounds so I couldnt move it and as I was trying to empty the dirt and pour water on it the worse and worse it smoked... very thankful for the firemen that came and took it downstairs away from the house and took care of it. they were so nice and said that they have seen this before ...that potting soil , the chemicals in it, can spontaneously combust. WHO Knew? Here I am so careful with my paint rags and my flowers outside are the thing that almost catches fire...crazy , very thankful for the service and kindness of firemen in this minor situation and I dont feel as bad about paying taxes now!
