file this under adventures for parenting... So today after getting halfway through changing the power steering pump on the car, it is time to bath the kids Hannah, Zach and Noah all in the tub together, I set my phone on the sink and commence the washing, after cleaning Zach and Noah I take them into their bedroom to get them dressed, Nicole and I get Zach dressed first, and he runs out of the room , then Noah and he runs out, Nicole and I take advantage of the quiet to take a few minutes and talk about what we need to finish up tonight. Then I head back into the bathroom where I begin to wash Hannah... shampooing and rinsing hair before I finally start sudsing her up. She ever so nonchalantly says Zachy (her name for Zach) threw your phone in the tub. me: What? (as I panic and check the sink for my phone and it is indeed gone) Hannah: (noticing Im thrashing wildly in the tub now searching for my iphone 5s) yeah its over here by me... (as she lifts up her foot and pulls out my phone) Now in full panic mode, because I really dont feel like dropping several hundred dollars on a replacement and in my line of work a phone is kind of necessary... after pulling it out and shutting it off (unbelievably the screen was still working and responsive after several minutes submersed in soapy warm water without a case mind you) I tested it again a few hours later, everything in working order with the exception of the ear speaker which gives nothing but a buzz, but a headset works perfectly fine. Im praying all is rectified by morning... either way Im thanking the Lord that the phone is still operational
