first session with Cliff ( aka Clifford ) this morning - Cliff is a reactive, fear aggressive border collie - he was quite nervous of me at first, and a bit frightened on the therapy trailer for the first 100 feet, but soon settled down and enjoyed the run - Having calm, reassuring, Tara behind him helped a lot, Im sure - after the run, he had a smile and a cuddle for me, but was still a bit unsure of sweet Tara - Tara, the natural therapy dog, knew exactly what to do - rather than force a greeting with Cliff, she laid down near Cliff so he could relax a bit more - once he had relaxed a bit, she moved closer to him and laid down again - eventually we were able to do a supervised greeting with the two - Cliff was then calm enough to approach Jerry, the german shepherd, who also remained calm and reassuring to Cliff - then it was a few minutes of leash work at heel to establish the beginning of boundaries, and back to his pen - when a new dog was put into the pen beside him, he accepted it without a fuss - a good first day session -- https://facebook/kathie.beals.1
