from Chris Nashvillerocker DiMella, my man, and i cant hardly wait to play some more jazz with you in 2015 wow, ive been calling it music business city for over 10 years, NYC has over 70 jazz clubs alone, not to mention all the other kinds of music clubs, one of my students from Atlanta went to NYC and found 6-8 jazz clubs witin walking distance of each other near the Blue Note, i was born and raised ther in NYC, but o really like living in Nashville, my humble apartment backs up to a reserve of forests in Bellevue, its a mile or more thick and about 3 miles in length, and great for creating, practicing,writing,recording, teaching, i would not have that in Manhattan, and its silent and dark at night, i just love it here, but the music and musicians scene here almost defies description, there are probably 10,000 musicians working in NY a night playing in clubs,opera houses, concert halls, theaters on Broadway, off Broadway, and off-off Broadway, and restaurants and bars, NYC is music city, this is one of the best articles ive seen, thank you chris for posting it.
