from Sherri Dobson... My little brother Coy Hilliard was attacked late Thursday night (July 3) at the backwaters of Cheat Lake in Morgantown, WV. He took an innocent 4wheeler ride down to the lake, just 2 miles from his family home. He never returned home. Coy was found the next morning laying in the mud along the road, unconscious. The 4wheeler was missing. He suffered severe trauma to the head, involving many deep and superficial lacerations and fractures throughout his face. Coy was unresponsive for 2 days, had a breathing tube, and required an extensive 6+hr long reconstructive surgery. He has a long recovery ahead of him. Justice has not been served to those who are responsible for this senseless, heartless act. On behalf of Coys Family, We are so thankful and overwhelmed by the amount of support weve received from our family, friends, and the community! Bob Evans has created a fundraiser to help Coy with his ever growing Hospital bills, as well as his everyday bills that he will be struggling to pay once hes on his feet again.
