from the article....This is the high bar that we set for manufacturers in this state, and there are a number of vacant sites where we want those manufacturers to create jobs. If companies are willing to comply with our laws, generate tax revenue and invest in our communities, we should welcome them....Really Governor...Comply??? If they complied ??? How about meaningful enforcement? Any corporation knows they can come in, evade environmental regs--and even if they get caught, they still come out ahead. It is a well known fact that this state refuses to hold corporations responsible for cleaning up their mess----instead the public picks up the millions to clean up these Brownfields. Good environmental policy is ALWAYS good economic policy. No wonder the public does not trust this administration and fights against your irresponsible development of the next Superfunds and Brownfields. These are communities with schools and residents already impacted by the last job creators who left the contamination. delawareonline/article/20131103/OPINION07/311030029/Markell-Let-s-create-jobs-Delaware-not-send-them-away
